Nocturne Build / Runes
In the LoL classification, Nocturne is an "Assassin". He takes refuge in the shadows to dive on his prey and eliminate them quickly with a few blows of his sharp blades. He is an AD character, who inflicts physical damage, and is usually found in the jungle. While he is rather fragile, he has a lot of damage and his ability to plunge his opponents into the dark is formidable to create chaos in the middle of the battlefield.

Spell Skill Priority
To play Nocturne, you should rely on attack speed in the runes, with Lethal Tempo in particular as the main rune, which allows him to keep a sustained DPS once he jumps into Melee.
Item-wise, we recommend a mix of damage and defense, with Ionian Boots of Lucidity, Stridebreaker, Sterak's Gage, Guardian Angel and finally Death's Dance.
Nocturne's passive allows her to heal herself and deal area damage with her attacks on a regular basis. Her Q, Duskbringer, casts a black blade that deals damage. Affected champions are tracked by this blade, which gives Nocturne bonus damage and movement speed while he is in it. The W is a shield that blocks the next opponent's spell, and offers attack speed to Nocturne.
Finally, Nocturne's ultimate skill is the most important: he plunges all opponents into darkness, preventing them from seeing anything but their surroundings, and then can reactivate the spell to pounce on an enemy from a great distance, inflicting damage.

Using Paranoia at a critical moment is well worth it even if you cannot use the dash.
Duskbringer isn't only an offensive ability. It can be used to close distance out of combat or escape from certain death.
Use Shroud of Darkness in tandem with Paranoia's dash. Your opponents may panic and waste a critical disable on your spell shield.
Stay close to your allies when Paranoia is cast - there is strength in numbers!
Nocturne Runes's Unspeakable Horror is broken with range, so try to save your movement abilities for when he casts it.
